We used infused oils with Galium aprine (Cleavers) and Calendula officinalis (Marigold) to assist in getting the lymphatic system flowing by the penetration and breakup of fibrous tissue and calcifications in the body. Both Cleavers and Marigold are also phenomenal supports for inflamed skin, including eczema and psoriasis. We added apricot kernel oil as it is one of the topical oils said to promote catabolism and cleansing. Catabolism is what happens when you digest food, and the molecules break down in the body for use as energy. Large, complex molecules in the body are broken down into smaller, simpler ones. This will aid in moving waste out of the lymphatic system.

We also infused Salvia officinalis (Sage) and Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) into olive and grape seed oil to help enhance intuition and add protection. Sage-infused oil is believed to relieve muscle and joint pain associated with inflammation and other symptoms of arthritis and strains making it suitable to use as a massage oil. This plant in an infused oil is also known to soothe the redness, soreness, and itching that is characteristic of skin conditions such as dermatitis. 

We added frankincense, peppermint, bergamot, and orange sweet essential oils. Each of these essential oils bring energy movement, connection to spirit, mood enhancement and protective qualities.

Galium aparine (Cleavers) is the little galaxy of stars that will stick to you and not let go! We can eat, juice, steep and apply this plant all with beneficial results. Cleavers is know as a ‘cooling’ herb. It is indicated for any hot or irritated tissue state. In Greek medicine, Cleavers is primarily used to support a balanced body temperature.
