How to know if this product is for you?

Not recommended for hair that is very porous or extremely thin. The argan oil is a super fat and may weigh it down. We let our hair go grey this year and it works fabulous. We have had women who do chemically treat their hair with dyes that say it works well, but this is a product best used on untreated hair for strengthening and conditioning.

What is SLS you might ask? Sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium lauryl sulfate is a surfactant, detergent, and emulsifier used in thousands of cosmetic products, as well as in industrial cleaners. It is present in nearly all shampoos, scalp treatments, hair colour and bleaching agents, toothpaste, body washes and cleansers, make-up foundations, liquid hand soaps, laundry detergents, and bath oils. Although SLS originates from coconuts, the chemical is anything but natural. The real problem with SLES/SLS is that the manufacturing process results in SLES/SLS being contaminated with 1.4 dioxane, a carcinogenic by-product. It may cause redness and rashes and contribute to further inflammation of the skin.
